DTC (Dossier to China) The Real Wait Begins

Our paperwork has been sent to China as of September 23, 2016.  One more day closer to our dear Hope.  I can't wait to see what God has in store for this journey.  It's an exciting time.

I'd love to chat with y'all more, but some little girl wants some breakfast.

I-800 A Approval

One more step down.  Received the I-800A approval today, but it was approved 8/12.  Only 10 business days after our fingerprints were completed.  This adoption wait is starting to get a little exciting and a little harder.  I'm slightly more patient this time than last time.

I'm Scared of Bears

Throughout the winter, we have had several conversations about fear and what the 2 younger boys are afraid of.  Owen's 5th grade teacher was reading the students a scary book.  After this, he has wanted Liam to sleep with him for comfort.

One night, I told Liam that he needs to start sleeping in his own bed because they don't fit too well in the twin bed.

Liam said, "Mom, I'm scared of bears."

I said, "Liam, we don't have any bears in our forest.  Are you afraid of the 3 bears and Goldilocks?"

Pause. . . . . . Liam's thinking.

Liam said, "Well maybe the Daddy bear."
